Buenas, and welcome!

If you're here, there's a good chance our paths have crossed somewhere along the way. Maybe you've followed me since the early days of the car scene when I was showing my little blue Honda Civic on red stancey wheels. lol Maybe you remember the S2000 that came after. Maybe you found me through the skits and automotive content I created years ago alongside someone who was a big part of that chapter of my life. Or maybe you've recently discovered me through my racing career.

However you found me, I'm truly grateful you're here.

For those who don't know me, I'm Joanna Marie.

I was born in the United States and raised in Hinesville, Georgia. As a military brat, moving and adapting was simply part of life. While Georgia will always be home, my roots run deep through Guayama, Puerto Rico and Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. My culture, family, and upbringing have shaped the woman I am today and taught me the importance of faith, family, resilience, and never forgetting where you came from.

Cars have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are standing beside my dad in the garage while he modified cars and prepared them for the track. I was the kid holding the flashlight, handing him tools, asking endless questions, and wanting to learn everything I could. Looking back now, I realize that's where this passion truly began.

As I got older, that passion naturally led me into the automotive community. What started with local meets grew into car shows, building project cars, creating content, and sharing pieces of my life online. Those years introduced me to lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and opportunities I never could have imagined. More importantly, they taught me that cars have an incredible way of bringing people together.

If you've followed me for a long time, you've watched me grow through many different seasons of life. Every chapter both the good and the difficult has helped shape the woman I am today. I truly believe God can use every season of our lives for a greater purpose, even when we don't understand it at the time.

Over time, my passion evolved from building show cars into chasing something much bigger: professional drag racing. Today, I'm blessed to compete at the highest level of import drag racing. Along the way, I've had the privilege of becoming the first woman to drive a K-series-powered car into the 7-second zone and the first woman to compete in the AWD Honda platform. Those milestones are incredibly special to me, but they aren't what define who I am.

What defines me are the countless setbacks, the long nights in the shop, the races that didn't go as planned, the sacrifices made by my family and team, and the unwavering belief that if you keep showing up, refuse to quit, and trust God's timing, incredible things can happen.

Outside of racing, I'm passionate about fitness, entrepreneurship, and creating content that encourages others to chase their own dreams. Whether you're here because you love motorsports, enjoy fitness, own a business, or simply appreciate seeing someone pursue their passion wholeheartedly, I hope my journey reminds you that your starting point never has to determine your destination.

For a long time, I thought I had to have everything figured out. I've learned that growth isn't about becoming someone else it's about becoming the person God created you to be all along. One of the biggest transformations in my life hasn't happened on the race track it's happened in my heart.

I've always believed in God, and I've always had a personal relationship with Him. For much of my life, that relationship was something I kept private. As I've grown, my desire to know Him more deeply and to live in a way that reflects Him has become stronger than ever.

I'm far from perfect, and I never want to pretend that I am. If you've followed me over the years, you've seen different versions of Joanna. I've said and done things that don't reflect the woman I'm striving to become today. But I've learned that following Christ isn't about pretending you've always had it all together it's about allowing Him to transform you day by day.

I'm still learning.

I'm still growing.

I'm still being refined.

My goal isn't to be known only for records, race cars, or social media. If God has blessed me with a platform, I want to use it to encourage others, share hope, and remind people that no matter where you've been or what your past looks like, growth is always possible when you place your trust in Him.

At the end of the day, I don't want to be remembered only for the records I've set or the races I've won. I want to be remembered as someone who loved people well, stayed faithful through every season, and used the platform God entrusted me with to glorify Him.

Whether you've been here since the blue Civic, the S2000, the early social media days, or you've only recently joined me through racing, thank you. Thank you for supporting my dreams, believing in my journey, praying for my safety, purchasing merchandise, sharing my content, and reminding me that this community is so much bigger than racing.

My story is still being written, and I truly believe the best chapters are still ahead.

Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share this journey with you.

Welcome to Joanna Marie Racing.
